We LOVE the house!
We are officially in the house. It is so NICE! You don't realize how much you need your own space! As we walk around the house trying to decide what will go where, we all keep ending up in the same room. :)
I took a TON of pictures so I hope this will help to see what the house looks like. I know you can see my smile from Texas today! My mind is already spinning with how many ways I can make this our HOME! The kids ran around the entire first day yelling at each other, "Come and look at THIS!" Such a special day for all of us. :)
Give me a week, and then I'll be ready for visitors! :)
When you walk in the front door, this is what you will see.
This is the formal dining and living room. The kids think this is their skating rink.
They put on their socks and go to town. :)
This is where we will eat when people come to visit.
It is also where I plan to scrapbook and be crafty when my stuff gets here. :)
This is where we plan to watch MANY GREAT movies. :)
This is going to be where we can sit and read or watch the kiddos outside.
I'm thinking it needs to be my prayer chair too!
Denman found his favorite spot. LOL!!
This is my favorite room.
I know we will be spending MOST of our time in this room.
It is multi-purpose...homework, eating, tv, and the door to get outside.
The kids love the bar stools. They said they can't wait to eat dinner just
like we do at the Nolen's house. :)
We had our first meal in the bar stools. :)
This is the TV area in the kitchen.
I'm thinking breakfast will take place here!
Check out my laundry room! It has a sink... woohoo!
BUT...that THING on the right is suppose to be the washer AND dryer!
Now that SCARES me!!!
We have a half bath downstairs.
This is a view outside from the formal living room.
Natalie said we need more grass. :)
This is a view of the back of the house.
This is the playroom that is also downstairs right before you go up the stairs.
Its a LITTLE smaller than our one in Houston, but I'm working on that one.
Natalie and Denman LOVE the driveway.
They have tons of room to play and practice riding bikes and scooters.
So this is our ONE and ONLY ride for right now.
We are ALL learning how to share these days!!!
I put this clip from Bethany on my oven.
Gotta remember this one EVERY DAY!
Natalie got a new skateboard and runs outside every time it
stops raining to try a new trick.
Now for the upstairs!
This is Denman's room. I think the lamp is his favorite part.
We have two full baths upstairs too. One for them and one for us.
This will be the office.
This is Natalie's room.
This is our room.
The best part of our first night in house would have to be that both kids were asleep in ten minutes. Now that was HEAVEN!
I wish I could explain how exciting it is to be in a house that we will be able to soon call our HOME. Lots of emotions going on today, excited, scared, overwhelmed, nervous, but most of all relieved that we can at least all get a good nights sleep!
This is the day that the Lord hath made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it!!!
