I found PEACE!

I found PEACE!
So after MANY MANY hard nights and days, I found it.  The one thing that will make you crave a relationship with Christ.  The one thing that will keep your faith alive and strong.  The one thing that allows you to grow and mature spiritually!

I FOUND PEACE!!!

The only way you can experience the peace that God has for you is to give it all to HIM!  Not just a little but ALL!!!  It is when we allow Christ to take over all thoughts, decisions,  plans, and our hearts that you feel the peace that He has for you.

He puts our lives together piece by piece just like a puzzle hoping that we will remain focused so we can see His work going on right in front of us.  As we began this move I prayed for one thing.... that God would show me along the way that we were doing the right thing.  Trust is so hard for me and God knows that so I just needed something to keep me going to the next step. So He did!  He showed me that we were exactly where we are suppose to be by giving us our....

PEACE by PEACE!!

So live each day so that you can make it to your next day of total PEACE!!!  It is then that you know that God just put another piece together on your puzzle. :)

Here are a few of my PIECES to my puzzle that gave me PEACE during my day.

We put Natalie and Denman in Tennis camp and they LOVED it!
They woke up early all week and got dressed on their own so we wouldn't be late.
A week of not dragging kids out of the house = PEACEFUL DAY!

I FRIED my hair with the straightening iron so I had to get it all cut off.
I found a salon and it takes me 15 minutes to fix in the morning now.
TAKES ME 30 minutes to DRY at night, but 15 to fix in the morning!
Fast Hair do = PEACEFUL MORNINGS

The second night we were in the house, it started to get a little overwhelming.
The to do list, getting the kids in bed at a good hour, and just finding our routine.
I opened the blinds to our window in our room after I put the kids in bed and this is what I saw.

A FULL rainbow!  I went and got the kids up to see it and Natalie said, "That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." Denman said, "Lets go see if their is gold in that house at the end of it."  LOL

And I thanked God for that perfect smiley face that He just put into our day.

TOTAL PEACE!

And this was what we saw the third night before bed.  So now we check the window every night for God's smile!

I LOVED Natalie's prayer this night.  It is not word for word, but she said,
Dear God thank you for this beautiful day, thank you for letting us move to Scotland and meet new friends, please tell our old friends we love them and miss them and we will see them soon, and please help us all to sleep good tonight.

Natalie growing in her faith = PEACE!

This is a snail that we found in our backyard.  We have a TON of them.  They are HUGE!  I can't even put into words how excited the kids were to find snails this big.  They spent hours outside looking for more and making homes for them.  They can't wait to get home to see if they moved places.

The kids calling our house HOME = PEACE!

We went shopping this weekend for things for the house and Denman fell asleep on Rusty's shoulder.
This would be his FIRST nap in a WHILE!!!  He was NOT digging the shopping thing.

Denman getting rest so we can finish up shopping = PEACE!

Natalie got her skateboard this weekend and is AWESOME!  She can do three tricks and rides it down the street faster than I can run. :)

Natalie found a new hobby here = PEACE!

Denman found Mike the Knight Castle and LOVES it.  He has plans to start collecting all of the characters and the town.

Denman finding something that entertains him for more than 15 minutes = PEACE!

As we were unpacking our "CARDBOARD BOX", Natalie found her gator and frog.  She was soo excited and put them in a special place in her room.  It warms my heart to know that she has a special place in her heart for Glen Loch and Mrs. Parker.  We talk about Mrs. Parker all the time and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.  She taught Natalie first grade AND about how to handle LIFE!  I owe her so much for putting the love of learning into my sweet angel!

Natalie cherishing her past = PEACE

Our new friends!
I don't know if you know this about me, but I am a little social.  So meeting new moms and friends is a MUST for me.  We met a group of friends this week that are just AMAZING!  I love that the kiddos are putting themselves out there and getting to know so many new people.  We try to meet at least one new friend everywhere we go in the day.  This time we met a super fun group of friends. :)

Friendships = PEACE

So as you can see, God has been RIGHT there the entire time.  It is so exciting to see the pieces get put together as we grow.  I pray God will continue to keep the PEACE coming!  :)

I love the Jesus Calling devotional today....

Trust ME in the depths of your being.  It is there that I live in constant communion with you.  When you feel flustered and frazzled on the outside, do not get upset with yourself.  You are only human, and swirl of events going on all around you will sometimes feel overwhelming.  Rather than scolding yourself for your humanness, remind yourself that I am both with you and within you.
I am with you at all times, encouraging and supportive rather than condemning.  I know that deep within you, where I live, My Peace is your continual experience.  Slow down your pace of living for a time. Quiet your mind in My Presence. Then you will be able to hear Me bestowing the resurrection blessings:  PEACE BE WITH YOU!

So today, SLOW DOWN, QUIET YOUR MIND, and FEEL HIS PRESENCE.
He has something to give you today, and it is HIS PEACE!
