Weekend Fun!
We woke up Friday morning to a beautiful sky. The sun likes to hide out behind the clouds here, and I just love to see how many streams of light I can find throughout the day. The clouds were glowing today and it was beautiful!
I have learned to LOVE and appreciate the sun. It can make the most simple things beautiful!
We started off our Friday with a text that our house is now SOLD!!!! THANK YOU MARK AND MICHELLE! Michelle signed the papers for us and took care of a million things that kept coming up with the house. I know it is great that it sold and that we can now focus on our journey in Aberdeen, but a little piece of me will always be in that house. I pray that the family that moved in will be a HUGE blessing to our precious Michelle and Anne.

When I picked Denman up from school on Friday he had a drawing to share with me. His teachers keep going on and on about his drawings and how elaborate he is when he tells them about them. Denman drew this picture and I can't figure out how to make it go the right way so you'll have to work with me on this one.
He said this is a picture of PePaw and a Stegosaurus just ate him up. He said that he had on his blue shirt and his blue jeans and that is why I should be able to tell that it was PePaw. So watch out for those dinosaurs PePaw. The grin on his face when he told the story was priceless.

After school we came home and made a few crafts before we headed over to Renee's house for dinner. We made it a taco and game night for us and the kiddos. We played spades while the kiddos played uno, guess who, and watched Rio. It was a great way to end the week.
Natalie and her silly mask.
Denman ran out of glue so he had to hold one piece as he ran around the house
because it wouldn't stay on. LOL!
Saturday we headed to the International school for a Back to School carnival. It was so much fun. Denman was not in the best of moods, but we made the most of it. We tried to keep him entertained while Natalie enjoyed walking around and seeing her friends from school.
Denman got a pirate face painted on. I thought that would fit his mood PERFECT!!!
As I waited on him to get done, I met the sweetest girl in line. She looked way too young to be a mom and I found out she is a "childminder" aka in the UK babysitter. I was PUMPED! She was super sweet and I can't wait to get a night out planned for me and Rusty!
As we were walking around to find Natalie and Denman I found her at the pillow fighting station with Keeley. She had a grin ear to ear!
It was so funny because they would barely even hit each other. I told Denman me and him need to get up there and try it out. He had a small whining problem and wanted me to HOLD HIM!!!
They both had to knock each other off. It was so fun to watch.
Natalie then decided that she wanted to try the rock wall. I was soo proud of her because she did it on the first try. We also got to meet the PE teacher who also has a child in Natalie's class this year. He was so nice and so patient as he helped all the kids up the rock wall.
She made it all the way to the top of the wall and then got to "bunny hop" down.
After the Back to School Social we headed to an Italian place for lunch. This was always the best choice for us here because everyone could always find what they wanted at the Italian place. It was delicious.
Natalie and her sweet butterfly face. :)
Denman turned his frown upside down as soon as he got his PIZZA!
We then headed home to rest so we could get ready for our dinner Saturday night.
This is where I keep finding Denman after school or after a long weekend day. I'm just waiting to one day hear a THUD before I get in there to move him into his bed. Such a sleepy sweet boy!
We had a VERY busy weekend so we decided to make Sunday a PJ and resting day!
