Natalie's First Brownie Party

 

Natalie finally decided to join the Brownie group of Girl Scouts.  I tried to get her to join when we were in The Woodlands, but she didn't want to.  When I found out they had it here too, I tried again.   They had a few meetings, and as time went on she then decided that she wanted to get involved.

 

We went to her first Mother and Daughter swim party and dance.  It was so much fun.  We couldn't take pictures in the pool area... THANK GOODNESS!

 

However, I did get some great pictures of the dancing part.  We all went into a decorated room and had some yummy pizza... and then the music started.

 

 

The girls danced all around the dance floor and made all of us giggle.  It was so much fun to watch them all together. 

 

We then had to fill out a quiz about our daughters and they had to do one for us too.  I loved learning what Natalie thought my favorite things were.  She was shocked to know that I knew most of what she liked the most. 

 

Nico told me NOT to look at her answers.  She is keeping it a secret from her mom.

We were introduced to a new song called Gangnam Style.  If you do not know this song, you MUST learn it... It is like the electric slide but WAY better.  Of course we couldn't let them have all of the fun.  We had to go out and show them how to do the Gangnam Style dance too. It was a blast.

 

Natalie took some observing time before she would jump in and try the dance.  By the end of the night she was out there doing it all.  I was so proud to see my little girl open up and be herself.

 

I can't wait for our next Brownie party!
