Enjoying our Journey!
I must say we have had so many moments that let me know that we are exactly where we are suppose to be. I put together a few of some of my favorite moments. I can't believe we have been here for four months.
This is Natalie at the International School trying out the Rock Wall Climbing. This is part of her PE program. She is soo good at it. Denman didn't want to try it, but he said maybe next time. :)
She went up soo fast and then got to "bunny hop" down.
The smile on her face made our day!
Denman found a new cartoon here. It is Peppa Pig. He drew it today while Natalie worked on her homework. I am amazed at how well he can draw. We are trying to figure out where it came from?
I LOVE this picture because it is what I see every day after school when the sun is shining no matter how cold it is. Denman has on shorts and his Texas shirt and they are playing soccer in the backyard. I love that Natalie cheers on Denman and then the switch.
Denman made a goal and Natalie jumped up to cheer. :)
Natalie is getting some practice in.
When we went to see the Queen, Denman spotted an ice cream truck. It was beyond freezing, but they all had to get some ice cream to celebrate the day. Check out that GRIN!
The Queen sighting was one of my favorite days here.
While driving down the road we saw an Olympic Gold Medalist taking a picture by this mail box that they painted gold for him. No idea who it is, but Denman thought is was COOL!
This is one of our first gatherings with my Aberdeen girls.
I am so blessed to have them here with us.
This is Emily and Jennifer at Hazelhead park. The kids always have a ball at this park.
It has a huge maze to run through that Denman begs to go to from the time we get in the car to go until the time we get to the maze.
We had a treasure hunt that Denman still talks about today and makes up his own hunts now.
This is where we went to get Denman's x-rays. It always took at least two hours to get them done. They had this machine there that helped keep him entertained. He dressed the people up as knights and astronauts. It was a lifesaver for me.
I get caught off guard every time I look out the window as we drive. It is just beautiful EVERYWHERE!
This is River Dee. It has a path beside it that Rusty uses to take his bike to work each day.
This was our first big get together at Kristen's house. We now workout at her house, have lunches at her house, and plan out our next fun trips at her house. So glad we met. :)
We all love a good reason to make some yummy US food!
I had to take a picture of this Barbie car. :) This is how small most of the cars are here.
Taking Golf Lessons was a BLAST.. Now time to hit the Course!
We get VERY excited when we find American foods that we all LOVE!
Denman is searching for his soccer shoes. I love that he wears his Tball outfit every day that it is clean.
This was a proud moment for Denman. He threw the Frisbee and it landed straight up.
We think this is a picture of Geese flying over. They were soo loud.
I know why they were flying... It snowed one week later!
I love that in my kitchen while I cook dinner I get to have the door open and watch all the kids play in the backyard.
I joined the AWA and will finally get to start attending some functions this week. They have trips around Aberdeen that show you all the great sights and history.
Check out my little hunter. Her smile after she let go was priceless.
We all get together at least once a week for lunch. God has given me a group of women here that I can already call our family!
We are off to a great start of enjoying our Aberdeen Adventure.
